Leave the Pack Behind
Wilfrid Laurier University
LTPB at Laurier is a peer-to-peer tobacco awareness program that is there for smokers, non-smokers and ex-smokers. Leave the Pack Behind is funded by the Ministry of Health Promotion. Today, LTPB operates on all University and College campuses across Ontario.
The main focus of LTPB is to deliver appealing and effective supports to post-secondary students who smoke or are at risk of starting to smoke. Important secondary objectives include the denormalization of the tobacco industry and the encouragement of smoke-free spaces on campuses.
