Where Can’t I Smoke?

ON-CAMPUS POLICIES

The University of Guelph is virtually
a non-smoking campus. On campus policies have changed: Brass
Taps and University club are now non-smoking facilities. All
classrooms, offices, cafeterias and all residences are non-smoking.
It was two years ago that all residences became non-smoking
areas and bus shelters were constructed for smokers to smoke
in. Student Housing Services has proposed a rule for the upcoming
fall semester that says that no one can smoke within 10 feet
of any residence building.

bylaw prohibiting smoking in the workplace and in public places
