Grand Prize Draws

The following details the draws for the grand prizes. To see if your campus offers other prizes, visit your campus page.

All contestants are entered into preliminary draws leading up to the grand prize draws. For each category, there will be one preliminary draw for the corresponding cash prize. In each preliminary draw, four names are randomly drawn as potential winners. Potential winners who complete all requirements of the preliminary prize draw are entered into the final draw.

Requirements of the preliminary prize draw for each category are as follows.

Contestants who are selected as potential winners must:

• Reply to Leave The Pack Behind within 24 hours of being contacted
• Go to their campus clinic within 48 hours of being contacted to:
1. show their student identification card,
2. provide a urine sample for a cotinine test to see if they are smoke-free,
3. sign a declaration form to say they followed the rules and are smoke-free.
• Make sure their buddy submits their declaration form within 48 hours of being contacted.

Potential winners forfeit their eligibility for the final grand prize draw if they:

• Do not meet timelines for replying to Leave The Pack Behind, visiting the campus clinic, completing the cotinine test, and submitting all required forms.
• Have not followed the contest rules before, during and/or near the end of the contest period.
• Decline, or fail the cotinine test.

Potential winners who complete all requirements of the preliminary prize draw and test as smoke-free are entered into the final draw for the grand prize. One potential winner is selected as the final, grand prize winner for that cash prize.

Prize Draws for Buddies

All buddies are automatically entered into the Buddy Prize Draw. To win, buddies must respond within 48 hours of being notified that they have won a prize.
