Hope you’ve all had a good to start the school

year…the staff at Leave The Pack Behind are certainly up and

running with a whole new focus. All of you who are new and are

not familiar with ‘Leave The Pack Behind’, well it is a project

funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and by Health

Canada to provide information about smoking and appropriate support

to post-secondary students at Ontario’s college and university

campuses.

Here at Mohawk, we are focusing on providing

updated resources through our medical services here at the Fennell

Campus and gradually extending to Stoney Creek. We offer guideline,

information, displays, class presentations, some peer support

and the motivation. Here at Mohawk we also offer resources outside

of Mohawk College. Check out the contacts!!!

We also have provided new information about

Mohawk colleges new smoking policies, work shops held in Hamilton,
