Who Are We?
Leave The Pack Behind at University of Toronto Health Service
is in its third year as part of the first province-wide smoking-cessation
campaign to address the needs of smokers on post-secondary campuses.
The program now includes nine universities and is funded by the
Government of Ontario and Health Canada. The project at
the University of Toronto aims to raise awareness and facilitate
smoking-cessation through a variety of avenues including:
peer counseling by trained staff, policy work, original research,
educational campaigns and promotion of smoking-cessation on interventions.
